General Questions

What is Holistic Strength?

Holistic Strength is a multidisciplinary allied health provider based in Perth, Western Australia. We offer a range of services including Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, and Allied Health Assistant support.

Who do you work with?

We support NDIS participants, private clients, veterans (DVA), WorkCover clients, and individuals managing injuries or chronic conditions, from children to older adults.

Where are your services offered?

We offer appointments in a variety of settings across WA, including gym-based sessions and community locations such as at-home, school, local cafés, or parks. Our service area stretches from Alkimos to Rockingham, with a new paediatric clinic in Mandurah offering Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required for most services. However, a referral may be needed for DVA, or Medicare-funded plans. Contact us for guidance.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Yes, we are a registered NDIS provider. We offer services under Capacity Building supports and can help guide you through the process.

How do I refer a client/participant

Yes. Our Occupational Therapists provide Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) and detailed reports for plan reviews and funding support.

Service-Specific Questions

What happens during a Spinal Rehabilitation session?

You’ll receive a personalised program focused on improving spinal strength, reducing pain, and restoring functional mobility. Your progress is regularly reviewed.

What is the PROST! Program?

PROST! is a group exercise and education program for men recovering from prostate cancer. It focuses on pelvic floor strength, fatigue management, and peer support.

How do Diabetes Group Classes work?

Led by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, these classes include gentle exercise, diabetes education, and peer support in a safe, inclusive environment.

What do Allied Health Assistants do?

Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) work under the supervision of allied health professionals to support your therapy goals, helping you stay on track with exercises, mobility, and life skills between formal sessions.

Can I see more than one practitioner?

Yes! We offer collaborative care. You may be supported by a team that includes a physiotherapist, OT, speech pathologist, and more, depending on your goals.
