Our Team

Meet the passionate professionals behind Holistic Strength! A team committed to delivering personalised care through expertise, empathy, and collaboration.

Vian Botma

Managing Director & Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Hi, I'm Vian. I’ve always had a strong passion for health, sport, and helping others. After graduating as an Exercise Physiologist in Perth in 2011, I’ve worked with a wide range of people—from those recovering from injury, to those living with chronic conditions or disabilities. My early work with sporting teams helped me appreciate the connection between physical and mental wellbeing, which ultimately led me to create Holistic Strength.

Holistic Strength was founded on the belief that healthcare should treat the whole person—not just their symptoms. Our approach considers all aspects of health including exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress, and more. I’m proud to see the business grow into a multidisciplinary team delivering truly person-centred care.

Outside of work, I enjoy time with family and friends, going to the gym, and watching sport.

Zac Prince

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Hi, I’m Zac. I’m an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and manage the Leederville and Inglewood gyms for Holistic Strength. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and Pathology, before transitioning into the fitness industry as a Gym Manager and Personal Trainer. My love of both science and movement inspired me to pursue a career in Exercise Physiology.

Over the last seven years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients, helping them discover their capacity for movement and achieve lasting health outcomes. I truly believe that exercise is medicine, and I’m passionate about finding the right approach for each individual.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy working out at the gym and hosting BBQs for friends and family.

Elizabeth Jones

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Hi, I’m Liz. I manage services in Perth’s northern suburbs as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Holistic Strength. My background as a competitive acrobatic gymnast and coach in both the UK and Australia sparked my early interest in injury prevention and movement education. After retiring from gymnastics due to a chronic hip condition, I redirected my passion toward Exercise Physiology.

I graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2021 and completed a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy to complement my skill set. My clinical interests include neurological and neuromuscular conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, oncology, and both men’s and women’s health. I love bringing creativity and fun into exercise programs to help people reach their goals and improve independence.

In my spare time, you’ll find me crafting, reading, staying active—or hanging out with my dwarf rabbit, Neo.

Marja Roodt

Occupational Therapist

Hi, I’m Marja. I’ve been an Occupational Therapist since 2006, having worked across several industries including life insurance, reinsurance, and private practice, with a strong focus on Functional Capacity and medico-legal assessments. I also hold a post-graduate diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation.

After immigrating to Sydney in 2016 and later relocating to Perth, I spent time at home with my young children and completed qualifications in Kindermusik Education and School-Based Education Support. I’ve always been fascinated by people’s unique stories, and my career across different sectors has taught me the importance of empathy, connection, and celebrating the small wins.

I enjoy cycling Perth’s scenic paths, playing piano, cooking, and family camping adventures—especially our 12-day road trip across the Nullarbor.

Sara Cappelletti

Occupational Therapist

Hi, I’m Sara. I’m an Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting people to achieve their goals through meaningful and purposeful activities. My career has spanned aged care, disability services, and behaviour support, giving me a broad understanding of client needs and the value of strong therapeutic relationships.

Prior to joining Holistic Strength, I worked for over three years as a behaviour consultant. This experience deepened my knowledge of restrictive practices and strengthened my ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and support teams.

Outside of work, I enjoy crafting, riverside walks, and catching up with friends over coffee or wine. I’m also a dedicated follower of Aussie comedy—and a proud (if sometimes heartbroken) Richmond Tigers fan.

Kiya Alimoradian

Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and   Team Leader

Hi, I’m Kiya – a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and Team Leader at Holistic Strength. I also lecture in Speech Pathology at Edith Cowan University’s School of Health and Medical Sciences.

Growing up bilingual in Western Australia, I developed a fascination with language and how people communicate. This passion led me to study Linguistics before completing a Master of Speech Pathology in Sydney. My career has taken me across Australia, including memorable work in remote Northern Territory communities, before returning home to Perth.

I have a strong interest in multilingualism, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), speech and voice, and I’m experienced in dysphagia management and Mealtime Management training. Outside of work, you’ll find me bushwalking, gardening, doing yoga, or relaxing with my cat and dog.

Boris Kazakov

Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD)

Hi, I’m Boris, an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) at Holistic Strength, with over 30 years of experience across both public and private sectors in Western Australia and interstate.

I graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Nutrition and Food Science) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics, and later completed the Sports Nutrition course at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone’s needs are unique, which is why I specialise in designing personalised nutrition and health programs. I work collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals in a sustainable and realistic way.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, eating well, and staying active through cycling, walking, and gym workouts. I’ve completed several City to Surf events and two half-marathons. I also value rest and quality time, often spent catching up with family and friends over a coffee or meal.

Itisha Bhatnagar

 Physiotherapist

Hi, I’m Itisha, a Physiotherapist at Holistic Strength, proudly based in the beautiful city of Perth.

I hold a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University on the Gold Coast, along with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, specialising in Orthopaedics. I bring over 13 years of experience across hospitals, community settings, aged care, and outpatient services, with clinical expertise in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, paediatric, and geriatric care.

I’m passionate about the power of movement and keeping exercise programs fun, effective, and tailored. I believe in self-management and supporting the connection between physical and emotional wellbeing. I stay up to date with the latest physiotherapy research and enjoy empowering clients through education and movement.

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening and spending quality time with my family and friends.

Justine Mamootil

Allied Health Assistant

Hi, I’m Justine, one of the Allied Health Assistants at Holistic Strength.

I hold a Certificate IV in Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistance and have completed extensive training in sensory behaviours, including Classroom Behaviour Management, Social Skills training, and Sensory Fitness training for Autism. I enjoy working with both children and adults in a variety of settings.

In my downtime, I love spending time with my husband and two teenage sons. I’m also a passionate supporter of Australian Ninja Warrior – I was a National/State Judge and WA State Coach for the Australian Ninja Games from 2017 to 2023.

I believe that “participants learn best when moving and mimicking in natural environments.” Let’s keep moving and growing together.
